Information we process

When a merchant installs SaleFunnel, we process their shop domain, authorization credentials, app settings, product catalog and automatic discount definitions. Shopify authentication may also provide merchant staff account information.

To recommend products bought together, the app reads permitted recent orders and retains product associations linked to a keyed hash of the order identifier. These are pseudonymous records, not a claim of anonymous data. The recommendation database does not retain buyer names, email addresses, postal addresses or full order records.

Storefront requests process product and cart information to provide recommendations and discount progress. Hosting infrastructure may process request metadata such as IP addresses and diagnostic logs. Support messages contain the information you choose to send us.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate merchants, synchronize products and offers, recommend products, display savings, answer support requests and maintain the service. We do not sell customer information or use it for cross-store advertising.

Service providers and transfers

Shopify provides commerce and authentication services. Railway hosts the app and its database. These providers may process information outside your country. We provide data to service providers as needed to operate the app and may disclose it when required by law.

Retention and deletion

App records are retained while needed to provide the installed service. The recent order import window does not mean every stored association expires after that window. Verified Shopify uninstall and shop-redaction notifications trigger deletion of the shop's application records. Customer-redaction notifications remove associated recommendation contributions; a hashed suppression record can remain to prevent reimport. Hosting logs and backups may follow separate provider retention schedules.

Your choices

Merchants can disable widgets in app settings, uninstall the app, or contact us about access, correction or deletion. Shoppers should contact the store where they purchased; SaleFunnel supports Shopify customer data-request and redaction notifications so merchants can respond. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

Security and updates

We use authenticated access and separate each shop's application records. No service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this page when our practices change. The merchant's own privacy policy governs their store and transactions.
