Parties and instructions

Merrylady, My Budget Store, operated by jobin john jose (the provider), processes store data for the merchant to operate SaleFunnel. The merchant determines the lawful purposes of processing its shoppers' data. The provider processes that data only to provide the installed app, maintain security, resolve support requests, comply with law and follow documented merchant instructions.

Information and purpose

The app processes the shop domain, authorization credentials, settings, product catalog and discounts. Purchase-history recommendations read permitted recent order identifiers, product line items and relevant order status. The app stores product associations linked to a keyed hash of the order identifier. These hashes are pseudonymous. The recommendation database does not retain buyer names, email addresses, postal addresses or full orders. Authentication can provide merchant staff information; infrastructure can process request metadata and logs.

The merchant must provide required shopper notices, establish an appropriate lawful basis and communicate consent or deletion instructions. The provider will not sell shopper data or use it for cross-store advertising or unrelated profiling.

Security and service providers

The provider will apply access controls, authenticated access, shop-level separation, encrypted network connections and protected hosting storage. Access is limited to people who need it to operate the service. Shopify and Railway provide commerce, authentication and hosting services. Data may be processed outside the merchant's country. The provider is responsible for maintaining required processor agreements and transfer safeguards and informing merchants about material changes to these arrangements.

Requests and incidents

The provider will assist with verified access, correction and deletion requests through Shopify privacy notifications and the support channel. It will notify affected merchants without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal-data breach, provide available information to help merchants meet their obligations and cooperate with reasonable requests about its processing and safeguards.

Retention and ending service

Application records are retained while needed for the installed service. Verified uninstall or shop-redaction notifications trigger deletion of shop application records. Customer-redaction notifications remove the relevant purchase-association contributions. Minimal suppression hashes can remain while installed to prevent reimport of redacted data. Hosting logs and backups follow the hosting provider's retention schedules, available on request. Any legally required retention must be limited to its required purpose and duration.

Acceptance and contact

A merchant representative must accept these terms before SaleFunnel imports or retains purchase-history signals. SaleFunnel records the shop, terms version and acceptance time.
